Hi Jon!

I use (and actually like) MS Office 2008 for the Mac. The tasks are integrated with EMail and other things (like the "My Day" application). Everything is tightly integrated. I think MS did a nice job with Office 2008. That said, the tasks don't integrate with my Blackberry calendar (yet). For that to work, I have to sync my tasks with iCal and then with the Blackberry. An extra step, but not a big deal.

Of course, Office 2008 isn't free! So it had better be state-of-the-art!

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version and iCal are available too.

Thanks, Olga!

That app looks really great. I don't have any extra cash right now, so I won't be buying it. But it sure looks like a great solution to the iPhone sync problem. Thanks for commenting!

Great review of GTD apps. I would also recommend you to try quite new app called Task2Gather. It performs greatly. It is an on-line app with tree structure of tasks, ability to share projects and iPhone client.
